A unique special attraction this year will be Two Antique Classic Boats, both of which are in excellent running condition. Both boats are individually owned and lovingly maintained. One is a beautiful 1962 Chris Craft 20′ Holiday mahogany runabout and it’s little “younger cousin” is a 1966 Glastron 16′ Bayflite 163 LT runabout. These are definitely NOT just “old plywood boats” (although one has an 85 Johnson and Electric Choke).

Although neither boat is for sale; they have a very important purpose at this year’s 42nd annual Birmingham Boat Show. They will be there to help raise money for Children’s Hospital of Alabama, toward a CURE for cancer in children. Of course, we also hope that you will see how well these two boats have lasted for so long that you will be impressed to buy the current version from one of our many fine dealers here at the show. Then you can start your own long running family tradition! Please come out to the show, enjoy the timeless beauty of these two gentile “ladies” AND make a wonderful difference in the health of our children. Thank you. Jim Edmonson
